Meet the Doctors


Dr. Travis Howard

Dr. Travis Howard moved to the North Country in 2013. He was raised in Rantoul, Illinois, received his Bachelors of Science from Illinois State University, and attended Logan College of Chiropractic located near St. Louis, Missouri. Since his graduation in 2003, he has owned two chiropractic practices in Terre Haute, Indiana.


He purchased North Country Chiropractic on June 2, 2017. He opened his second location in Littleton, New Hampshire on November 29, 2021.


While in Indiana, Dr. Howard saw patients of all ages and a wide variety of conditions. He enjoyed the opportunity to treat college athletes from three local colleges during his time there. His clinic was also very involved in the local community, donating food, clothing, toys and money to local charities. He was chosen by the public as the Terre Haute Tribune Star's 'Chiropractor of the Year' in 2012.


Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Howard served in the Air Force where he attended medical technical school at Shepard Air Force base in Texas. As a medic stationed at RAF Lakenheath, UK, he trained in pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support and became an American Heart Association CPR instructor trainer.


Dr. Howard and his wife, Tiffany, have three sons and are very excited to be a part of and serve the people of the North Country for many years to come. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family, volleyball and skiing.


Dr. Nathan Lax

Dr. Nathan Lax was born and raised in the small town of Franconia, New Hampshire. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science and his Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine from Logan University located near St. Louis, Missouri in 2021.

 

Prior to becoming a chiropractor Dr. Lax served in the United States Air Force packing parachutes and performing maintenance on life saving equipment for aircrew. Dr. Lax spent most of his service over in Germany at Ramstein Air Force Base where he also had additional duties including being an American Red Cross and American Heart Association CPR and first aid instructor.


Dr. Lax and his partner Ally, have two dogs named Malcom and Ky who are thrilled to be part of the community and to serve the great people of this area. In his free time, he enjoys being with his family, exploring the outdoors, hiking, skiing and playing sports. Dr. Lax also spends time volunteering as a member of his local Fire Department in Sugar Hill.
